NLEOMF to Adorn No. 31 Cadillac Whelen Cadillac V-Series.R

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The No. 31 Cadillac Whelen Cadillac V-Series.R will take on a slightly modified livery for a special cause at this weekend’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship trip to the Streets of Long Beach (Saturday, April 18, 4 p.m. ET, NBC).

The Cadillac Whelen racing program, in partnership with the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF), will proudly honor the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers during the upcoming Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach weekend.

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund is dedicated to honoring the fallen, supporting their families, telling the story of American law enforcement, and making it safer for those who serve. Through the partnership, Whelen’s annual tribute car brings national attention to the NLEOMF mission and has become a powerful tradition with each car carrying not only the NLEOMF logo, but hundreds of names that are also etched into the national memorial in Washington D.C.

ScreenshotThis year, the names of 365 officers whose lives were lost in duty will be on the car. Several families wrote letters of thanks for the opportunity to see their officer’s name carried on the car. For those families, not only is it a special honor for their loved one to be recognized but also carries their legacy forward.

Throughout the race weekend, the Cadillac Whelen team will host representatives from NLEOMF, participate in fan-engagement activities, and highlight the shared commitment between motorsports and first responders – both of which are rooted in precision, teamwork, and dedication under pressure. There will also be a QR code present during the weekend for anyone wanting to learn more about the initiative, which leads up to National Police Week 2026, May 10-16.

The No. 31 Cadillac, driven by Jack Aitken and Frederik Vesti, will be on display for the first time with the livery at Thunder Thursday at The Pike Outlets, just outside the track.

Whelen Engineering, a long-time supporter of law enforcement and public safety, continues to lead initiatives that connect first responders with major sporting platforms, reinforcing its commitment both on and off the track.
